Get Your Dirt Dog On!!
If the Elotero man has not come by your neighborhood and you're craving an "esquite", well there is another place you can get your fix and that's at Dirt Dog!
A friend of mine recommended this place and I wanted to try it out so my boyfriend and I went to check it out. Once we got there we were lucky enough to find parking because the plaza parking can be a bitch. Once inside, we were greeted and the staff was so nice they asked us if it was our first time. As they explained the menus to us we decided to try the #TheHouseDog with bacon thousand island with green chile spread. My boyfriend ordered the #TheGreenDog with chimichurri sauce and guacamole spread.
Since we made the drive out there we decided to go an extra mile and ordered the "Dirty Esquite". Of course I didn't want to share with my boyfriend, so we decided to get our own, but the one thing we did share was the delicious #FilthyFries with guacamole spread, chipotle aioli, cheddar, and cotija cheese. The sad part is that I'm allergic to guacamole so we had to request no guacamole, :( yes I know it's really sad so I don't want to talk about it lol.
They also have different types of bread buns to add to you're delicious hot dog. We decided to try the lobster bread. Once we sat down we had a great view. On one side we can see our food being prepared and on the other we could see a painting of Tupac's "To Live And Die In LA" ...I Love it! LA is my type of city!
If you enjoy board games, they have a few choices to play with while you wait for your food! I think that's a great idea because we can use it to bond with people instead of being on our phones all the time.
Dirt Dog sure did deliver great customer service, tasteful orgasmic food, and fun vibes! Oh and don't you get full too soon without trying their desserts! We tried the Horchata Ice Cream with Churro and trust me you will not want to share with anyone else.
