Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.. Disneyland!

The wait is over! Disney passholders got a chance to get the first dibs on the new Star Wars land so take a look at our adventures in Star Wars Galaxy Edge which is now finally open to the public.

We arrived at Disneyland and had to check in Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland to get our special bracelets to enter “Batuu”(Star Wars new land). We headed over excited almost running to the location and as we entered we were received by staff scanning our bracelets. As we entered inside I felt goosebumps just hearing the sounds, seeing how amazing the land looked.

As we walked through we saw lights, mountains, spaceships, you get the full experience of Batuu. The staff is trained to talk to you in Star Wars lingo.

Try out the food and drinks in Batuu. And for the first time in history there is “Olga’s Cantina” but unfortunately you can’t take the alcohol drinks outside the cantina, and you would have to make reservations through the app. It gets super packed so I recommend to come early.

Unfortunately we were not able to make it to the cantina but we got to try some “green milk” at the “milk stand.” It took me two reservations to get to enjoy the park! And still I have a little more to explore.

The only ride active right now is the falcon.. 🙌🏽oh if you haven’t tried that ride, I recommend you try the single line because it’s way faster than the regular line. On the first visit I was the engineer, second time I was the right pilot, and the third time I was back to being the engineer. If you do end up being one of the captains, hopefully you have some flying skills because you can crash the plane. The falcon has a total of 6 seats. 2 Captains, 2 engineers, and 2 gunners.

second time...

3rd time I went to the falcon I was back to being an
engineer but I’m better at being a pilot.Once we got turned down at the Cantina we went right away to “Droid Depot.” The first time I went inside I was amazed!! Of course I always loved R2-D2😍

There was a huge line just to make your own droid but the second time.. we’ll.. We got lucky because there was no line!! I don’t know how that happened because I remember once we finished building our r2d2 there was a huge line outside the door, the best birthday present I received!

My new R2-D2.. actually it’s R2-Dta ❤️you can always come back to purchase accessories from your droid and there’s actually a bag-pack to carry your droid in and take it around the park. Also, the droid has a Bluetooth to communicate with other droids.

Limited edition PhotoPass

Don’t forget the other goodies outside the park.. like finding Pluto! Eating a galactic burger! (secret menu) check out our Instagram to find out where to eat this delicious burger. And don’t forget to try out the elote hot dog located on Main Street.

Star Wars fanatics.. just FYI later this year.. look out for another ride opening at Batuu and join the resistance!
May the force be with you..
